About Derek

I’m a U.S. Army veteran and former medic, and after seven years in the military, one thing really stuck with me: people deserve straight answers and someone they can trust when things feel overwhelming.

I started my real estate career in Colorado Springs in 2019, where I worked with first-time home buyers, VA buyers, investors, and sellers. A lot of my clients were navigating the process for the very first time, so I learned early on how important it is to slow things down, explain the details, and make sure nothing gets glossed over.

Now based in Southwest Florida, I bring that same calm, detail-focused approach to every transaction. My background as a medic taught me how to stay level-headed under pressure and communicate clearly—skills that translate surprisingly well to real estate. I put a strong emphasis on full disclosure and realistic expectations, so my clients can make confident decisions without unpleasant surprises later.
